I Got Pokemon Rumble Blast!

  Hey everybody!  I haven't been updating lately because I have been playing a lot of pokemon rumble blast.  It's a really hard game.  There are parts where the game is really challenging along with parts that are really easy.  I have just started on the fourth chapter.  After I finish the game, I am planning on doing a review of it.  It is a very fun handheld game.  It was a really tough decision for me on which game I should get because I just bought Zelda Ocarina of Time and that game was amazing.  I have no regrets on buying this game.

Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition

     There is a new video game coming out for Japan called Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition.  It will be a cross between the Pokemon series and the Nobunaga's Ambition series.  The game looks like a new experience.  For all you people that do not plan to own a Nintendo 3DS, then I think you are going to like the fact that this game will be released for the Nintendo DS.  I find this strange because most people are going to own a Nintendo 3DS console after the holidays.  Nonetheless, this game looks really good. The Nobunaga's Ambition video games are about taking over Japan. It is unknown how pokemon will play a role in this video game.  Tell me what you guys are thinking about this game in the comments section below.  If you really want this game then you will have to wait, because this game will come out sometime during Spring. And that is the Japanese version.  I don't think we need to worry because spin-off pokemon games don't take very long after the Japanese version has been released.

2 year Blog Anniversary

     It has been 2 whole years with this blog. I can't believe it. I worked really hard on it. Especially during the Summer.  2011 has been the peak of my blog.  I can't believe the pokemon Forums even commented on my blog saying that I was the third most popular pokemon blog internationally.  Thank you guys for all you comments and support you give me.  You never said anything bad about my blog.  I remember when I just started off and was terrible.  I eventually got better over the years.  To celebrate my 2nd anniversary I decided to open up a Legend of Zelda Blog.  This will be great considering (from all the fain mail I get) many of my viewers love Zelda.  So be expecting a blog of that.  I will probably title it The Rayman Legend of Zelda Blog.  Thank you everybody.  Once I am done constructing it I will put it up on my links to the side.  Again I would like to say Thank you for the support and good feedback.

Pokemon of The Month December, 2011

Hey everybody here is the pokemon of the month for December, 2011.

Delibird

The reason why I picked Delibird is because this pokemon was meant to represent Santa Clause. Believe it or not. It has a sack a large tuft of fur that represents a beard.  It even has red. If you don't think this pokemon looks like Santa Claus, then I have nothing to say to you. You know what they say, if you don't have anything to say nice to them, then don't say it at all. If I'm correct wasn't there an episode of pokemon where they put Santa Claus and Delibird both in it?

Also here is a pokemon sprite that makes delibird look like Santa Claus.

Strange Pokemon Remake Pattern

Hey everybody! Many people are looking forward to a ruby sapphire remake. Even though this information is unconfirmed many people think that the remakes are coming soon.

That would be wrong...

My friend told me this interesting pattern of pokemon games. It starts from the ruby and sapphire generation. The generation of the first pokemon remakes. Pokemon Firered and Pokemon Leafgreen.

Here is the video game timeline.

1.Ruby,Sapphire,Emerald

2. Firered and Leafgreen

3. Diamond, Pearl, Platinum

4. Heartgold and Soulsilver

5. Black and White

This is where it ends. So if my prediction is correct, Pokemon Gray ,or whatever the title is called will come out before the ruby and sapphire remake.

If you still do not get it I will explain it to you.  Pokemon ruby sapphire and then the remake Emerald came out before Firered and Leafgreen. The remakes of the generation 1 pokemon games.  After that Diamond and Pearl came out and then their remake, which was platinum.  After that Heartgold and Soulsilver, which were remakes of the generation 2 pokemon games, were released.  Now there is Black and White left. If this pattern continues, Pokemon Gray will come out before the ruby and sapphire remakes. The ruby and sapphire remake games will be remakes of the generation 3 games and so on.....

So if you fans think that pokemon ruby and sapphire remakes will still come out before pokemon gray, don't be surprised  if it is the other way around.

Pokemon of Month, November 2011

Hey everybody!!! In America, it is the month of Thanksgiving. It was a little hard to look for a pokemon like that, but here it is.....

Strangely enough, Game freak actually morphed the sprite of this Pokemon to look like a turkey and release at an event so people can get this strange turkey Pokemon. It was released on Thanksgiving day.

Pokemon of the Month September, October, 2011

   I forgot to do my pokemon of the month for September so I am going to show you my pokemon of the month for September AND October.


September:

Lucario

     I had chosen Lucario because he can sense aura! C'mon! If that isn't good enough he can perfectly understand human speech and is a persistent fighter.  In Pokemon and in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.  Lucario deserves to be the pokemon of the month for September, 2011.

October:

Chandelure

The month of October is the month of Halloween.  I decided to put in a spooky looking pokemon.  This pokemon is a floating Chandelier with eyes. I would be creeped out looking at this thing.  Gengar isn't nearly as creepy.  Unova is the region of the creepy pokemon.  Volcarona, Kyurem, and Cryoganal.  Chandellure definetly deserves to be pokemon of the month for October, 2011

Pokepark 2

   A new game for the 3DS will be coming out hopefully soon.  The game is known as Pokepark 2.  It will be the direct sequel to the first game.  However, you do not have to play as pikachu in this game.  You can also play as snivy, oshawatt, and tepig.  This is an interesting feature because in the last pokepark game you were forced to play as pikachu.  Except for mini games of course.  Now you can play as the three starters of Unova! When this game comes out, be sure to pick it up at a store near you!

Pikachu vs. Venasaur results.

The votes are in. I got a littled delayed with the pikachu vs. Venasaur thing so here are the results.

                        Pikachu starts with thunderbolt. Not very effective. Venasaur uses sleep powder on pikachu. Pikachu is fast asleep. Loses turn. Venasaur plants leech seed on pikachu. Pikachu loses health and Venasaur gains health. Pikachu still sleeping. Venasaur uses razor leaf. effects of leech seed comes in again. Pikachu woke up. Pikachu dug into the ground. Venasaur uses Frenzy Plant and Ultimately Misses. effects of leech seed come in. Pikachu used Dig. Venasaur used FrenzyPlant and missed. Effects of leech seed come in......again. pikachu uses thunderbolt. Pikachu missed. Venasaur used Frenzy plant. missed for third time in row. Effects for leech seed come in.........Guess what? AGAIN!!!! Pikachu uses double team. Pikachu evasivness rose. Venasaur uses Frenzy Plant and HITS, FINALLY. Pikachu hung on using its focus band. NOOOOO!!!!!effects of Leech seed come in....... agai.... you know what i'm not even gonna say it!!! Pikachu is unable to battle? uhh... Okay!!! Venasaur wins.

      Sooo, How was that. This teached you that weird battles like this can happen. And of how useful leech seed can be at times like this.

 

POKEMON LEAFGREEN UPDATE

I had beaten Pokemon Leafgreen again. Here is my team and there description.

Starmie

my Starmie is my powerhouse. It knows psychic, thunderbolt,ice beam, and surf. I used Starmie the most in the Elite Four. Newest member in my team.Caught as a Staryu

Charizard

Started off as Charmander. Defeated Rival's executor and earned my place in the Hall of Fame.

Victreebel

Third pokemon in team. Captured as a bellsprout. Starts off with a sleep powder to put the opponent to sleep. After that he uses sunny day to increase the power of solarbeam, which he uses in the next turn. If the foe is still in field, then he finishes it off with double-edge.

Nidoking

second pokemon in team. started off as Nidoran. poison point ability used to defeat May's starmie. Knows megahorn and earthquake. Thoses are his powerhouse moves.

Hitmonlee

Hitmonlee starts with High Jump Kick. Then uses bulk up. After that it slowly finishes the foe off with brick break. Fifth member of team. Obtained as Hitmonlee at Saffron City

Persian

Fourth member of team. Vital powerhouse. uses return to lower the foe's HP greatly. uses shadow ball to defeat the psychic pokemon easily. If foe still hangs on Persian will finish it off with payday.

Bulbasaur

Bulbasaur is the first pokemon in the national pokedex. it's bulb on its back absorbes in sunlight. When it has reached the point to where it can't take in anymore sunlight, it releases it through solarbeam.

Noctowl

I picked Noctowl for it's similarities to a real owl. This is one of the few pokemon that actually look like an animal. Spearow being one of them. I didn't put in Spearow because spearow isn't very interesting. When a Noctowl turns its head 180 degrees it sharpens its mind. I do not like the fact that the anime made Noctowl's size about the size of Ash's hat. The real size of Noctowl are aroun 4-6 feet.

Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver Review

Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver review.




Introductions:

Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver are remakes of the two best games known to pokemon. They bring back the old things such as the magnet train and make new things such as that fun little GBA music thing. That is just so fun. How could you not love it? This game is perfect for old pokemon fans and the newer kinds. They made this game sort of like firered and leafgreen. They didn’t take away the classic feel, but they added new things to it. Like newer pokemon. Same comes here. So if you want to buy either one of them read this review and take my word for it. I may be a pokemon fan, but I can give a couple of bad reviews too. This game has also added a new female character in it too.

Story:

This game starts of exactly like the originals. You’re a boy who gets the opportunity to become a pokemon ranger. As you journey through the jhoto region you meet up with your rival many times. The difficulty of the rival is satisfying. It sure is better than Firered and Leafgreen. In your journey, you discover Team Rocket. The first team pokemon has ever created. The main purpose in the game is to defeat the Elite Four, which are four really strong trainers with four pokemon, and defeat the champion of Jhoto and Kanto. The Champion of Jhoto is Lance. The Champion of Kanto is Red. Like the classics Red has really high leveled pokemon. On the other hand, you can make it through the Pokemon League with your eyes closed. I have to take points away from that. Like the original two games, you can travel through the Kanto region and battle all the gym leaders. However, think about it, in Firered and Leafgreen, Brock’s strongest pokemon is an Onix at the level of 14. In this his Onix has gone up to Level 54. A 10 year old trainer comes along with his level 9 charmander and challenges the gym of pewter city. So much for being a pokemon master. Brock is the first gym leader in red and green. Now he is the sixth. That makes a lot of sense. There’s also a battle frontier. It’s very similar to the one in Pokemon Platinum.

Presentation:

I have to take points away from the use of the touch screen. I think they overuse it a bit. Also, I do like the fact that pokemon follow you, but it can get pretty annoying. Sometimes, I go to the battle frontier just to stay away from my pokemon. Point deduction. I also think how it’s sort of unfair, how some people bought this game just for the pokewalker. WHY? The pokewalker is this little flattish oval-shaped object in which you can transfer pokemon into and obtain watts. The currency of the pokewalker. A picture of a pokewalker is right above graphics. With these watts, you can go use this dowsing minigame which lets you make educated guesses on where an item is. You can also select which patch of grass to pick so you can capture pokemon. The more steps the better. You can also connect to friends with the pokewalker and battle their pokemon trainer and their team on the ds. A computer does that However. Bummer.

Graphics:

Not a lot to say about the graphics in this game. They are the same as the pokemon diamond, pearl, and platinum games. I need to deduct points for not changing graphics. The biggest graphic change is how the sprites look. Big deal.

If I was on the pokemon anime my name would be Hiro. I would be a professional pokemon trainer. I would have all the gym badges on all the regions. This would be my team.

Pokemon Guardian Signs Review

Pokemon Rangers Guardian Signs Review

Introduction:

Pokemon Rangers Guardian Signs is the third game in the Pokemon Rangers franchise. It is probably the best of the three games. Pokemon Rangers Guardian signs bring back some of the old mechanics. For example, you need to make loops around a pokemon like crazy and hope for the best. It also has some new mechanics like the guardian signs, which allows you to summon certain pokemon.

Story:

This story is a little more complicated than the past two games. The past two were just beat the team and you save the world. Voila. You’re done. This story is about a pokemon ranger who has an important mission to stop this certain team of pokemon meanies who “pinch” pokemon. This group is known as the Pokemon Pinchers. Glad they don’t have the word team in it. I like the beginning of how you’re already a ranger. No sending letters to people asking to be a ranger. No weird ranger school. You’re just a normal pokemon ranger who travels around the Oblivia region with a girl named Summer/a boy named Ben. I got to give points for that. The storyline however doesn’t answer very many questions like who is the main legendary of the game? Is it Ho oh or Mewtwo? I just gave you spoilers by the way. Sorry.

Let’s get into the topic of Guardian Signs. After you capture raikou, your character and only your character sees a mysterious sign that comes from raikou. Once you record the sign in your capture stylus, you find out that it can call upon the pokemon. You can do this with a decent variety of pokemon. Such as the three dog pokemon and latios/latias. The three dog pokemon have the same role as doduo, but each have their own unique ability. Raikou can jump far. Entei can tackle pretty hard. Suicune can walk on water. All are really helpful. Latios/latias have the same role as staraptor except you can fly faster. It is really helpful considering you would have to find a staraptor and then catch it and then fly with it. And go through the process again.

Presentation:

This game does have quite a few problems, like the cut scenes. I beat the game in exactly 14 hours and 16 seconds. Literally. The majority of the game is cut scene. Even the quests have really long cut scenes. The game is really easy too. The maximum time it takes to beat the game is 72 hours. If you hit more than that, well find a better game to play. An easier game like um…nintendogs. I do like how the challenge is at the final boss. I mean the final FINAL boss. If you even touch the pokemon you lose damage. I also like the fact that you can visit Dolce Island again after it has been destroyed. You sort of can anyways. You have to finish this certain quest. Dolce Island is just virtual after you beat the quest. In the Virtual Dolce you can challenge the bosses again. I do like the new flying mechanic in which you can control where you want to fly.

There is something I have to deduct points from. It is the complication of the guardian signs. Some are really hard like the Ho-oh sign. It is a pain.

I do not like going to the past. The missions are pretty fun, but there is limited time, so sometimes you are forced to complete the mission with another player. Also, you can’t take Ukulele Pichu, your partner, to the past.

Graphics:

The graphics are like the past two pokemon ranger games. It’s pretty good. Glad Game freak doesn’t make the graphics in these games. Creatures do. Err….It’s the company name. Creatures. I can’t find the trademark sign. I do like the graphics for when you’re flying, but as a video game reviewer I have to deduct points for not changing the game’s graphics very much.

Story: 8.9 amazing



Presentation: 7.0 decent



Graphics: 6.4 average

Enough of Unova now. Let's focus more on other things about pokemon like firered and leafgreen. Those games are history...........to some people. I decided to restart my pokemn leafgreen and play it all over again. I need to train more of my pokemon. I have updated my blog. Sit back and enjoy.

Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby Remake

What if they made a remake of pokemon ruby and pokemon sapphire. I hope they make a remake of the games. We don't need pokemon gray. What we need is pokemon sapphire and pokemon ruby. Just imagine thatwith the same graphics as pokemon black and white. Like imagine 3d lilycove city.  That would be awesome.
